1996: as elsewhere since 1966 in France, Italy or Chili, Ernest Pignon Ernest occupies now the walls of Lyons through serigraphies. At night, glass walls of the city phone boxes are covered by life-size figures meticulously drawn in black and white. At dawn, passers-by discover on a street corner these short lived figures, soon washed out and unsticked by rains and winds. Refusal of beautiful material, of color, of work: E.P.E. works with newspaper, ink, serigraphy and glue. En coproduction avec Grand Canal | |
